Our homes are sacred spaces. They are the nests we create to support our families and nurture our lives. They must be socially, mentally, physically, and emotionally uplifting spaces.
Nesting Ground was an initiative started by three independent, female owned, companies to bring a truly cohesive process to designing and building a home.
As thoughtful, caring women, we talk to our clients about how they want to feel in their space. It starts from the site visit to capture what is so powerful about the land you purchased - through the curated spaces with vintage items and that make your space feel like home from day one.Building a house is a creative process. It’s about more than the square footage someone told you that you needed or the material finishes that go in the kitchen. Our design process includes the native landscape and connection to nature. To touch lightly on the surface of our planet and connect to it as an extension of ourselves. From plants to sun patterns to healthy indoor air quality, our homes are meant to nurture and support you.
Solar Way Community
In 2015 we started a community for like minded owners. People who wanted to live in healthy, durable, efficient homes that were connected to the surrounding nature and the community they lived in. We explored the ideas of how they could be a modern version of traditional Maine. Beautiful and sustainable - healthy - but also socially, mentally, and physically supportive of the owners within.
