Patrice Cappelletti

Patrice has 20 plus years’ experience as an entrepreneur in Maine, most recently working in real estate and development. She is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, with a B.S. in Textiles, Merchandising & Design. Her love for construction began while developing a 5 lot subdivision of luxury ski homes in the mountains of western Maine.  After working with “typical” builders, she felt the industry was in need of a more creative, soulful eco-friendly process for building homes.

With a passion for the outdoors, naturally, Patrice gravitated towards the building energy efficient homes in harmony with the elements here in Maine.  After years of research and building relationships within the industry, Patrice built her own energy efficient, solar home. She has become proficient in managing the process of building highly functional, creative, luxe, energy efficient homes. Her passion for green building is unprecedented, and she hopes she can share that passion throughout your personal home building experience.

Emily received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Penn State University and is a Registered Architect in Maine, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania. Emily is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), the Maine Indoor Air Quality Council (MIAQC), and the Natural Resources Council of Maine (NRCM), the state’s leading organization working to protect and preserve the environment.

An educator at heart, Emily also teaches building science and sustainable design at a local community college and has served as a consultant for projects in a secondary school trade program. She hosts the weekly podcast E3: Energy and Efficiency with Emily and co-hosts the live-streamed BS* + Beer Show, a weekly building science show for professionals and “civilians” alike.

As much as she loves doing all of the above, there’s more to her than designing custom homes, producing a podcast, hosting a web series, or hammering out content for the PGH. When she’s not calculating energy performance, comparing view corridors, or discussing the finer points of ventilation, you can find her exploring with her shepherd rescue, Chase, reading, kayaking, or planning her next travel adventure with her husband.
